Hey Everybody! I hope you are doing FABULOUS.

Do you ever feel like your situation is near perfect and then whattakaboom everything shifts? Many areas that felt concrete now feel like thick mud, and your car doesn’t have four-wheel drive. If so, bro that’s okay. It may not feel okay but believe me there is a purpose for your pain.

Right now I’m going through the book of Genesis in the Bible. In Genesis 12 the journey of Abram (later named Abraham the father of many nations) starts. In Genesis 12:1 the journey begins. This passage says, (This is God speaking) “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those whose bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on Earth will be blessed through you.”

MAN what a calling is that?! God instructed Abram to LEAVE where he was COMFORTABLE and rely on GOD to SHOW him and LEAD him to the land that would be his. What a leap of faith that calls for!!! Abram was uprooted for a promise, God's promise (all of which came true because God never backs down from his promises.) Even when your life feels shaken-up and uprooted, trust God and his promises. For God is the God who SEES you (Genesis 16:13) and knows what is best for you. Calling and transition are uncomfortable because we are not able to see the full picture. We only see the “here and now” the normal frame not the panoramic view. We just don’t know WHERE we're going or WHAT'S happening. In one way of thinking, God is like the ultimate gardener. Sometimes we think we're doing just fine. Day by day we’re comfortable. Not really growing or changing but existing in our safe routine. Then God takes out our roots and transfers us to a bigger pot where at first we feel lost, but as time goes by and the growing pains ease, we are able to grow bigger and better. Deepening our roots, and broadening out to places we have never been before, we start to blossom and eventually bloom. God is always moving, and sometimes you don’t know you need a move until all the boxes are packed. Sometimes you don’t realize you need a transformation until you turn into a butterfly *not literally* and realize that the cocoon you sat in and waited in for what seemed like forever was needed for you to fly. Everything in life has a purpose when things in life shift and you feel unstable make the choice to look above and hold on to the hope of God's promises. He has a GREAT plan for your life. God has you EXACTLY where he wants YOU to be. You may not be where you thought you would be and you may not be where you WANT to be, but God has you EXACTLY where you are MEANT to be. This is SO encouraging. Seek the TRUTH friends. We can breathe and do yoga (if you’re into that lol) with PEACE and SECURITY knowing God has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11), no tear you shed goes unnoticed (Psalm 56:8), and You can walk blindly in the LIGHT because God who is LIGHT is LEADING you. No matter where you are, or what season you’re in, remember that you are where you are for a PURPOSE. Our God is an intentional God and he will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). In closing, I just read this quate which says, *idk who said it* " God will often present your greatest opportunities in the form of your greatest obstacles." Yes, and amen.

Thanks for reading Guys!

Until Next Time,

Mimi K
