Hi friends!! Thanks so much for stopping by Joy Pages! Today, I will be sharing one of my most favorite desserts to make! This recipe is super simple and takes like 5 minutes. Down below I have step-by-step pictures* and instructions to help you get this in your tummy ASAP!

*Once again, don't believe that they're slideshows, they're each 1 picture!

INGREDIENTS

- Maple syrup

- Butter or coconut oil

- Rice cakes

- Vanilla

- Cinnamon (optional)

No exact measurements here, ya just gotta wing it!

- First thangs first. You're gonna wanna break up up your rice cakes into bite-sized pieces and set them aside. There are multiple ways to do this: you can take them out and crumble them up with your hands, or, my favorite most fun method... hold the bag by the top and whack on any hard surface (e.g. the counter or floor)!

- Second, turn your stove on medium and melt butter or coconut oil in a large pan

- Third, stir in maple syrup and vanilla. Continue stirring until it starts to bubble and thicken. You may need to turn the heat up for this, but not too much so it doesn't burn.

- Fourth, add broken rice cakes into the mixture

- Fifth, stir until fully coated

- Finally, sprinkle with cinnamon (optional), serve, and eat! They're also really good in a bowl of milk like a cereal. I hope you enjoyed this recipe and that you'll give it a try! It's definitely one of my favorites.

Thanks for reading, I hope you have an awesome day!!

Until next time, Mimi K
