This Generation Needs Jesus. I have always viewed evangelism as someone else's job. Since children's church the idea of sharing Jesus with others has been planted in my head. Although I heard this message, I brushed it off. This is until VERY recently and now, I am on FIRE to tell my generation about their ONLY hope. A few months ago I wrote a blog entitled "our faith is urgent". Today I'm here to tell you that Gods way is urgent!! Thanks be to God. "And remember, our Lord's patience gives people time to be saved." (2 Peter 3:15)

If he wanted to, the Lord could come back today. Yet, in today, he has not. This means people have the opportunity to realize they are doomed if they don't have Jesus in their hearts. We can no longer tolerate ambiguous topics of truth preached from our leaders. "Do not add to his words..."(Proverbs 30:6) We need straight up truth. The message of salvation, that shares that God is our heavenly father who sent his son Jesus in to the world to save us from our sins and that without knowing God and knowing what Jesus did for us we have NOTHING is completely lost in the fluff of "you're okay". Guess what? A majority of my generation is NOT okay. 22% of Gen Z'ers are Christian. 91% of people in this same generation report being depressed. Not to say that if you are saved you will not have a valid mental illness. I live this out. However, this one statistic shows us that people are not okay. More people are lost than people are saved. Guess what? Those who are lost are going to get even more lost if they are not presented with a path to travel by. Further, some people may say "I believe there IS a God" but do not receive, internalize, and display the only saving truth. We need young men and women that are dedicated to living a life altered by the Father aimed towards Heaven. If we continue to sleep who will never get WOKE? We need to wake up.
