It's HUMP DAY! Wahooo! half way through the week!!! Hey Everybody! I'm so glad you decided to stop by Joy Pages today :) If you haven't already, go check out my first blog post, "Change And Letting Go." Today I thought that it would be fun to share my day with you through my workout and what I ate! I personally love these sort of blogs and videos and think it's interesting to see what people eat in a day. If this ain't your thang, stick around; I have more content coming! I hope you had a fantastic Wednesday, and if not, I hope you have a better day tomorrow!

Morning

Starting at the beginning, my alarm went off at 7:52 a.m. and I sat in bed for quite a few minutes contemplating whether I should go back to sleep, or get up and go for my run and do my workout like I was supposed to. I finally decided that if I was going to do it, now was the time because it just wouldn't happen later in the day. So I forced myself to get moving, layered up and laced up, and then I headed out the door! I ran 3.02 miles at an easy pace and was happy with my splits for it being an easy run (I am the worst pacer in pacer history). My first mile was the slowest like it should be, but never is, for once!

After my run, I did 5x20 squats, 4x10 burpees, 2x35 crunches, 35 seconds of flutter kicks, and 2x15 pushups.

After I finished, I went back to check my schedule... Apparently I read the wrong week so I did 1 extra mile, 10 painful burpees that did not need to be done, and 20 unnecessary squats... Yay. Go me. Oh well. After all that I came inside and got started on my breakfastttttt!! The first thing I had was some healthy cookie dough made from garbanzo beans (I know sounds nasty) which is pretty good, but I need to work on perfecting it. I won't share a picture either cause it does not look appetizing. For my main portion I had some scrambled eggs and leftover roasted butternut squash and white sweet potatoes.

I wanted something warm to drink so I made some hot chocolate!! Pro tip: add a spoonful of coconut oil to your hot chocolate and then blend; your hot cocoa will be super creamy and extra healthy! Down below are all my ingredients.

**Make sure to put the lid on tight! Once I didn't and the lid blew off getting hot chocolate all over the cabinets, wall, counter, tile floor, carpet, and my brand new shirt!

Afternoon

After my morning run, my day was all school, school, and yay, more school. Nothing really exciting happened at all. I had a later start to my day so I didn't have any lunch, just a snack of corn chips, grapes, a piece of pecorino romano cheese, and homemade lemonade! Fun fact: Lemonade is my FAVORITE drink!... Next to coffee of course.

Evening

I know my dinner looks super white and dingy, but it was good! We had grilled chicken drumsticks, white rice (my fave food after potatoes), and cranberry beans. The beans came in a really cool and pretty pink and white shell, but we found out you have to take the beans out of their shells to cook and eat LOL. They tasted very similar to black eyed peas. Not my most favorite, but not bad! Oh, and I had some olives. I never got why people don't like them but I won't judge if you don't. I personally love them! Now it's 9:00 p.m. and I'm still finishing up some school. Then I need to wash the dishes, do my devotionals, and go to bed! Thanks again so much for stopping by. I realize now that the day I plan to tell you what I eat, I didn't eat a lot so it's not super duper exciting. It was fun to type up though and I hope you enjoyed!

If you like what you see and want more posts similar to this one leave me a smiley face down below!

Until next time, Mimi K
